Implementation of Reese’s Law enforces safety standard for coin cell batteries and Consumer Products

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a notice for Proposed Rulemaking for Safety Rule 16 CFR part 1263 in early 2023. This rule focuses on safety standards and notification requirements for button cell and coin batteries in various consumer products. The CPSC have incorporated UL 4200A into this standard.
