DHSC-NHSE are exploring how government and industry can collaborate more effectively to address major public challenges through outcomes-based approaches, namely health related economic inactivity.
They are undertaking early market engagement via the Find a Tender platform, to inform the potential development of Health and Growth outcomes‑based contracts, aligned with the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan and its ambition to use “pay by impact” approaches to address complex public challenges.
The engagement will explore how outcomes‑based models could enable innovative, holistic approaches to support people with health conditions to remain in, or return to, sustained employment while delivering value for money and supporting economic growth.
DHSC and NHS England are seeking views from potential providers and investors, including organisations with experience of outcomes-based contracting as well as those newer to this approach on the feasibility, design, and delivery of such models, including outcomes, payments, risk and scalability.
The deadline is 17.00 on 12th April and you can respond here.
