One IPO update – changes to patent paper forms

We’re continuing our work to modernise and simplify the way customers interact with the Intellectual Property Office as we prepare for the launch of our new One IPO Patent Service.

The latest blog in our What’s changing series looks at how patent paper forms are changing, and what this means for customers who still use paper routes.

One of the biggest updates is the introduction of a new combined patent form, which brings together several existing paper forms into a single, clearer document. You’ll only need to complete the sections relevant to the action you want to take, mirroring how the process works in our new digital service.

Find out everything you need to know about changes to patent paper forms, including what’s changing, what’s staying the same, and what happens next.
