Registration for the 2025 Standardisation of Genome Amplification Techniques and Serology (SoGATS) Workshop to be held on 24 – 26 September 2025 is now open.
The Workshop will be held at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) Science Campus, Blanche Lane, South Mimms, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire EN6 3QG, UK.
Please note that this will be a hybrid meeting, and it is expected that some presentations will be delivered virtually, however in-person attendance is encouraged wherever possible. For those who do wish to attend in person, additional opportunities, such as a tour of the MHRA Science Campus Reference Materials Production Facility, will be available.
Please register via e-mail to sogat@nibsc.org, providing your full name (including title), your organisation/affiliation, and whether your attendance will be virtual (via Microsoft Teams) or in person. There is no fee to register for the Workshop. Upon registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail with further details/guidance for attending the Workshop.
You can view the draft programme here, which includes sessions on commutability in infectious disease diagnostics and digital PCR supporting pandemic preparedness. The latter will feature BIVDA Infectious Diseases Working Party Co-Chair, Jim Huggett.
The Workshop is targeted at laboratory scientists, assay manufacturers, reference laboratories, EQA providers, and regulators in the field of infectious disease diagnostics.
